Bill Miller

Owner

Bill is the owner of both funeral homes and is a licensed embalmer and funeral director in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. He also was the Jo Daviess County Coroner for twenty (20) years. He was born and raised in East Dubuque and attended University of Wisconsin/Platteville and Loras College, Dubuque, before entering and graduating from Worsham College of Mortuary Science/Chicago. He then worked at the Piser Funeral Homes and Drake & Son Funeral Homes in the Chicago area before returning to the Jo Daviess County area. He is a member of the East Dubuque Lions Club, Knights of Columbus Council #7527, of East Dubuque, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Msgr C F Conley Council #1690, of Galena, and a retired member of the East Dubuque Fire Dept. He is married to Joni (Pfeiler) Miller and has (2) children, Mark (Tina) Miller and Michelle (Chad) Wagener, and four grandchildren. He is a member of St. Mary's Parish, East Dubuque.

Bob Miller

Assistant - E Dubuque & Scales Mound

Bob is Bill's brother. Bob has assisted Bill for many years. He was employed during his younger years at the Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department in Galena. He was then an independent insurance agent for thirty-three (33) years before his official retirement at the end of 2011. Bob handles the website for the funeral home and works in the business with Bill.
