Theresa R. Brimmer, 75, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Midwest Senior Care Community, in Galena, IL.

Theresa was born on December 18, 1949, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Leo and Leona (Watters) Birch. She was united in marriage to Roger A. Brimmer, on October 29, 1965, in Dubuque, IA.

Theresa was formerly employed at the University of Dubuque in the housekeeping department. She loved boot scooting, country music and talking to anyone.

Surviving are her husband, Roger A. Brimmer; their children, Roger A. (Linda) Brimmer, Jr, Rick D. Brimmer, both of Dubuque, IA, and Sharon Lynn Brimmer, of East Dubuque, IL; six grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; her siblings, Dave (Diane) Birch, Bert Birch and Jerry (Nancy) Birch, Sylvia Hitzler, Ellie Hitzler, and Elaine Harry; her-in-laws, Steven "Mick" Brimmer and Sharon Mote.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Leona; a son, Randy at birth; siblings, Jr. Birch, Bobby Birch, Darlene, Velma, Barb, Jeannie, and Tiny.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, IL, with Pastor Crystal Weber officiating. Friends and family may call after 10:00 a.m., on Friday.
