Teresa V. Ulbrich, 94, of Epione Pavilion, Cuba City, WI, formerly of Tennyson, WI, and Homosassa, Fl, passed away on Thursday evening, June 29, 2017, at Epione Pavilion.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A/M, on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Kieler, with Fr. Bernard Rott and Fr. Jim McHenry concelebrating. Burial will be in Fountain Memorial Park, Homosassa, FL
Visitation will be from 9:30 A/M to 11:15 A/M, on Monday, July 3, 2017, at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, in Kieler, WI.
The Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, is serving the family.
Teresa was born on June 19, 1923, at Detroit, MI, the daughter of George and Katie (Lindenmuth) Jacobs. She was united in marriage to Marcellus Ulbrich on September 9, 1944, at St. Bridget Church, in Detroit. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2002.
She was a current member of Immaculate Conception Parish and its Council of Catholic Women. Teresa was very active with the K. of C. Ladies Auxiliary, both in Wisconsin and Florida. She was an accomplished artist, and also enjoyed bingo, poker and working with her plants. Teresa was very devoted to her faith, was a former housekeeper for St. Andrew's Parish, in Tennyson, and a bookkeeper for Gene Droessler & Sons Construction.
She and Marcellus were very close to all of their nieces and nephews, hosting many family and friends who came to visit.
Surviving are her loving nieces and nephews, the Droesslers' (Maureen, Gene Jr. & "Loni", Mark & Sue, Bruce and Mary Jo, Eric & Terry, Luke & Suzanne), the Hartls' (Danny, Chuck & Kathy, Jane & Steve and Peggy & Jack), the Wagners' (Jane & Leo and Nick & Melody).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcellus; in-laws, Lorraine (Ray) Hartl, Rita (Gene) Droessler, Sr, and Marion (Don) Wagner (Floyd Faust); and nephews, Dale & Fr. Mike Hartl, Don Droessler and Carl Pickel, Jr.
Teresa's family wishes to "thank" the staff of Epione Pavilion, especially her Angels in the Reflections Unit, for the wonderful care Teresa received and to Kim, of Grant County Hospice, for her kindness, guidance and care during this time.
