Obituary
Stephen D. Treanor, 59, of 17 Hickory Street, East Dubuque, IL passed away at 6:20 A/M, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at home following a brief battle with cancer.
Memorial Services will be at 8 P/M, Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL where friends may call from 6 P/M to 8 P/M.
Steve was born on January 14, 1953 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Dean and Marjorie (Jaques) Treanor. He was a graduate of Hempstead High School, class of 1970.
Steve married Sandy Chase on September 15, 1979 in Dubuque, IA. He retired from John Deere Dubuque Works with a medical retirement. He was a former member of UAW Local #94. He loved fishing, playing pool in different pool leagues, tinkering in his garage working on cars and helping friends.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy; two children, Dean Treanor and Stacy Treanor, both of Dubuque, IA; three grandchildren, McKayla, Isabelle, and Diem; his siblings, Peter (Bernadine) Treanor, Boise, ID, Deborah (Joe) Craddock, Binger, OK, Robert (Ann) Treanor, Boise, ID, Ken Treanor, Meridian, ID, Nancy Treanor, Binger, OK, and his Shelby Cobra "Bad Boy Blue".
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Stephen D. Treanor Memorial Fund has been established.
