Sister Marilyn Skluzacek, OP, died December 10, 2021, at St. Dominic Villa, Hazel Green, WI.

She was born to John and Cecelia (Malecha) Skluzacek, July 17, 1940, in Lonsdale, MN. There were eight children.  She is survived by four sisters, Janette Sticha, Loretta Hauer, Bernadine Bissonette, and Valeria McHale; and one brother, Jack Skluzacek.

In 1962, she began a lifetime of service to students and families in elementary schools.  She was a teacher and/or principal in the following states: Illinois, Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska.  Sister Marilyn was a quiet, steady presence.  She said of herself, "The greatest thing we hope for is that the children will deepen their faith and put that faith into action."  Well done, Sister Marilyn!  Rest in God forever.

Sister Marilyn will have a remembering service and funeral December 17th-18th at Sinsinawa.
