Sister Jeanette (Guinevere) Landuyt, OP, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Sinsinawa Motherhouse at 10:30 A/M.  A wake will be there Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 6:30 P/M.

After religious profession in 1950, Sister Jeanette taught various levels in Minneapolis, MN, Chicago and Freeport, IL.  She served at school principal at St. Thomas (Chickasaw, AL) and St. John Vianney (Spokane, WA).  Later she was appointed Assistant Superintendent in diocesan offices of education in Madison, (WI) and in Kansas City, (MO), and director in the Rockford, (IL) Catholic Education office.  She retired to the Motherhouse in 2007, volunteering her services in the archives.

Born in Peoria in 1930 to Adolph and Dorothy (Peters) Landuyt, she is survived by nieces, nephews and her Dominican Sisters.

The Miller Funeral Home, of East Dubuque, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
