Sister Mary Ann Shea, BVM (Agnes Corneille), 97, of Marian Hall, 1050 Marian Drive, passed away at 10:10 P/M, Monday, February 4, 2013, at Marian Hall.
Services will be at 1:30 P/M, Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Marian Hall Chapel. Friends may call from 9 A/M to 11 A/M, Tuesday, in the chapel where there will be a prayer service at 11 A/M.
The Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
Sister Mary Ann was a music teacher and administrator in Des Moines and Emmetsburg, IA; Lincoln, NE; Boulder, CO; Butte and Missoula, MT; and San Francisco, Petaluma, Fremont, and Union City, CA. She was a volunteer in Hayward and Union City, CA.
She was born on April 5, 1915 in San Francisco, CA, daughter of Cornelius and Mary (O'Keefe) Shea.
She made her first profession of vows on March 19, 1937, and her final profession on August 15, 1942.
Surviving are a nephew and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with whom she shared her life for 78 years.
