Obituary
Shirley Ann Risley, 76, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away at 6 A/M, on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at home.
Graveside services will be at 11 A/M, on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the East Dubuque Cemetery. The Miller Funeral Home, of East Dubuque, is serving the family.
She was born on August 11, 1937, the daughter of Raymond C. and Mary Elizabeth (Krueger) Grewe. Shirley married Arnold J. Risley, on August 27, 1955, in East Dubuque. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1994.
She was formerly employed at Hartig Drug on Locust Street, in Dubuque, and D J's Foods in East Dubuque. Her hobbies included bowling and going to the Casinos.
Surviving are two (2) children, a daughter, Mary Stella (Tony) Carter, of Austin, TX; and a son, Arnold J. (Kelly) Risley, Jr., of Hendersonville, NC; four (4) grandchildren, Kendra Lawrence, Maverick Risley, Beau Risley, and Easton Risley; and a great-granddaughter, Lillee Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
