Sheena M. (Fisher) Streckwald, 62, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Unity Point-Finley Hospital, in Dubuque, IA, following a short illness.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, IL. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Beecher City, IL, with Pastor Nick Robertson officiating.

Sheena was born on August 22, 1962, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Richard and Midge (Rhodes) Fisher.  She was a 1980 graduate of Cowden-Herrick High School, Cowden, IL, and a 1983 graduate of St. John's School of Nursing, Springfield, IL.

She was united in marriage to Bret R. Streckwald, on November 1, 1986, in Cowden, IL.  Sheena was formerly employed at Shelbyville Memorial Hospital and lastly at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA, as an Operating Room Nurse.

She enjoyed craft fairs, flowers, gardening and loved music. Her top priority in life was her family.

Surviving are her husband, Bret; two children, Breann Streckwald, of East Dubuque, IL, and Bryce (Courtney) Streckwald, of Greeley, CO; three grandchildren, Ireland Harkey, Arthur and Henry Streckwald; her mother, Midge Fisher; and sister, Sherri (Brian) Depoister, both of Cowden, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Fisher.
