Obituary
Robert E. "Bob" Miller, 81, of Benton, WI, formerly of Dubuque, IA, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Manor Care Health Services, in Dubuque.
There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Bob was born on December 15, 1936, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Nick and Charlotte (Droese) Miller. He was united in marriage to Alice L. Brokus, on May 8, 1953, in Dubuque, she preceded him in death on May 22, 2013. Bob was formerly employed at Alter Metals, Jacobsen Recycling and Dubuque Wilbert Vault Company.
He loved going to the casinos and purchasing lottery tickets.
Surviving are five (5) children, Charlotte (Randy) Waterman, of East Dubuque, IL, Bonnie Miller, of Guttenberg, IA, Alice (Rick) Revenig, of Dubuque, IA, Linda (Nick) Martin, of Anamosa, IA, and Robert E. "Bob" (Tressa) Miller, of Benton, WI; sixteen (16) grandchildren, thirty-six (36) great-grandchildren; and seven (7) great-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Betty Billmeyer, Marion Wiezorek, Jean Rubie, and Ron Miller.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jack, Don, Ed, Jim, and Jane Palm.
The Miller Funeral Home, of East Dubuque, is serving the family.
