Robert H. "Bob" Fleege, 80, of 8979 N. Menominee Road, Menominee, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, IA.

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 P/M, Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Word of Life Church, 4450 Dodge Street, Dubuque, IA, with Pastor Loren Hirschy officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque, IL Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 P/M to 6 P/M, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Miller Funeral Home, 1185 Rt. 35 N., East Dubuque, IL.

Bob was born on the family farm near Menominee, IL, on June 3, 1932, the son of Edward & Catherine (Budden) Fleege. He married Evelyn "Evie" Heller on May 28, 1957 at Sinsinawa, WI.

Robert's greatest joy in life was his wife, children, grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, reading the Bible and sharing God's word. One of Papa's favorite verses that he taught all his grandchildren is John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Evelyn (Heller) Fleege; two sons, Greg (Dawn) Fleege, Galena, IL, Tony (Alexandra) Fleege, Paris, France; seven daughters, Janet (Peter) Morse, Mukwonago, WI, Sharon (Jim) Rigdon, Galena, IL, Ellen (Mark) Kasun, Newburgh, IN, Judy (Bill) Roth, Marion, IA, Paula (Mike) Belken, Menominee, IL, Donna (Tom) Schmitt, Dubuque, IA, aned Bobbi Jo (Andy) Freiburger, Menominee, IL; 22 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one brother, Richard (Betty) Fleege, Summerfield, FL; and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Fleege, Menominee, IL.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Catherine (Budden) Fleege; and siblings, Melvin Fleege, Ursula Fleege, Jerome (Rosie) Fleege, and Harold (Lorraine) Fleege.

In lieu of flowers, a Robert H. Fleege Memorial Fund has been established.
