Rebecca R
Voss
d. Jul 13, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rebecca R. (Burns) Voss, who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 54. Rebecca was a resident of Janesville, WI, and formerly of East Dubuque, IL.
Born on January 20, 1972, Becki lived a life defined not by perfection, but by unwavering love for the people she cherished most. Through every challenge life placed before her, she made sure her family knew they were loved.
After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, she faced every obstacle with incredible strength and determination. Even during her illness, the love she had for her family never wavered.
She is survived by her four children, Jessica Brusca (Ashton), Jacob Voss (Mandy), Joshua Voss (Haley), and Jonathon Voss (Krongkanok); her beloved grandchildren, Lennon, Lilah, Noah, Eliana, Evelyn, Logan, Waylon, and Luca; her parents, Thomas Burns III and Penny Burns; her siblings, Thomas Burns IV (Karla), Michele Schmitt (Mike), Kim Mulgrew (Tracey), along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 – 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Wesley Methodist Church in East Dubuque. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., with Dave Ames and Pastor Crystal Weber officiating. The Miller Funeral Home of East Dubuque is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her memory by spending time with the people you love, laughing often, and never letting those you care about question how much they mean to you.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that love like hers doesn't end. It lives on in the family she built, the laughter she gave us, the lessons she taught us, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
