Patrick R. "Pat" Sheean, of East Dubuque and Galena, IL, passed away at 6:38 P/M, on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Midwest Medical Center, in Galena, IL, of an apparent heart attack.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A/M, on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Church, in East Dubuque, with Fr. Dean Smith officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 P/M to 6 P/M, on Monday, April 4, 2016, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, where the parish rosary will be recited at 3:45 P/M.

Pat was born on January 26, 1938, in Dubuque, IA, the son of Raymond and Stella (Leibold) Sheean.

He was a member of St. Mary's Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council #7527. Pat was employed at the Jo Daviess Workshop, in Galena.

Surviving are two (2) sisters, Violet and Jeanne.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack; and a sister, Corrine.

Memorials may be given to the Jo Daviess Workshop or Kreider Services, both in Galena.
