Nancy Burcham, 83, of East Dubuque Illinois, formerly from Princeton, Illinois, passed away Saturday May 11, 2024, at Prairie Ridge in Galena, IL. Nancy was born May 20,1940, to Henry E and Josephine M Sipes. Nancy grew up in Sheffield, Illinois, with five sisters, one brother, one half-brother and one half-sister. Nancy married Carl (Bill Burcham,June 30, 1961. Together they had five children, Jeffery Burcham, Vicky (Pat) Runde, Kevin Burcham, Terry Burcham and Malissa Burcham; twelve grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Nancy worked in the kitchen at East Dubuque Elementary and High School. She was also a homemaker. She could whip up pies, cakes, cookies, and Holiday dinners that family would look forward to all year long. It was always so wonderful.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Carl (Bill) Burcham; her son, Jeffrey Burcham; and granddaughter, Courtney Burcham; along with her parents, siblings and many family members and friends. Nancy's family would like to thank Prairie Ridge and Hospice of Dubuque for the wonderful care she had received. Nancy's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
