Marlene K. (Winter) Chamberlain, 84, of Dove Healthcare, Fennimore, WI, formerly of Scales Mound, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Dove Healthcare.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Miller-Steinke Funeral Home, in Scales Mound, IL. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Centralia, IA.

Marlene was born on January 29, 1941, in Scales Mound, the daughter of Michael and Marcella (Koester) Winter. She was a graduate of Scales Mound High School.

She was formerly employed as a customer service representative for Swiss Colony and Lands End. Marlene loved to read, enjoyed a good game of euchre and being outdoors.

Surviving are her son, Charles "Chuck" and (Marcie) Harwick, of Monfort, WI; her six grandchildren, Chanel, Isabelle, Charles, Daniel, Augustus and Jona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Marcella; her husband, Patrick J. McDonald; two sons, Patrick and Michael; and her siblings, Carol Hartung and Charles Winter.
