Obituary
Mark C. Bahr, 51, of 2722 LaMotte Drive, Dubuque, IA, formerly of Scales Mound, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at home.
Funeral Services will be at 2 P/M, Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Miller & Steinke in Scales Mound, with Pastor Dottie Morizzo officiating. Burial will be in the Scales Mound Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 A/M to 2 P/M, on Saturday, August 17th, at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, Scales Mound.
Mark was born on July 10, 1962, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Kenneth O. and Sharon J. (Smart) Bahr.
Mark attended Scales Mound High School, loved listening to old music, reading, and enjoyed time spent on his computer. Mark was employed at the John Deere Dubuque Works and was a member of UAW, Local #94.
Mark was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Surviving are his parents, Kenneth (Mary Jane) Bahr, of Scales Mound, IL, and Sharon (Carl Houy) Bahr, of East Dubuque, IL; one brother, Brian (Michelle) Bahr, of Dubuque, IA; two sisters, Julie (Tom) Spillane, of Cuba City, WI, and Angela (Bill) Drake, of Bloomington, IL; four nephews, Joe and Adam Brown and Brett and Austin Drake; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford & Lucille (Hammer) Bahr, and Clifford and Christina (Wasmund) Smart.
