Marie B. (Wagner) Arensdorff, 92, of the Bell Tower Retirement Community, East Dubuque, IL, formerly of rural Hazel Green, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Luther Manor, in Dubuque, IA.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A/M, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Sinsinawa, WI, with Fr. Ken Frisch officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 P/M to 7 P/M, on Monday, September 4, 2017, and from 9:45 A/M to 10:45 A/M, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, where the parish scripture service will be at 3:30 P/M, on Monday.

Marie was born on February 24, 1925, near Peosta, IA, the daughter of Peter and Rosalia (Naumann) Wagner.  She was united in marriage to Eldon J. Arensdorff on April 23, 1946, at St. Mary's Church, in Dubuque, IA.  He preceded her in death on December 29, 2014.

Marie was a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School, Class of 1943.  She was formerly employed at the A. Y. McDonald Manufacturing Company until her marriage, then farmed with her husband, Eldon, until retiring in 2000.

Marie was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and its Council of Catholic Women.  She enjoyed reading, puzzle books, the Chicago Cubs, watching Wheel of Fortune, a good game of cards, but most of all, spending time with family.

Surviving are six (6) children, Carol (Ken) Stagman, of Hazel Green, WI, Merlin (Judy) Arensdorff, of Eldridge, IA, Alan (Tracey) Arensdorff and Larry Arensdorff, both of Hazel Green, WI, Joan Mai, of East Dubuque, IL, and Roger (Melissa) Arensdorff, of Cuba City, WI; fourteen (14) grandchildren; and thirteen (13) great-grandchildren plus one due in November; her siblings, Irene "Babe" Kienzle, of Cuba City, WI, and William (Donna) Wagner, of Dickeyville, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Rosalia; her husband, Eldon; two (2) sons, Jerome E. and Donald W. Arensdorff; a grandson, Brad Arensdorff; her father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Florence (Koltes) Arensdorff; siblings, Clem (Loyola) Wagner, Celestine (Ed) Kueter, Raphael (Verna Mae) Wagner, and Eileen Wagner; and her in-laws, Robert Kienzle and Marie (Walter) Schueller.

Marie's family wishes to give "thanks" to the staff at Bell Tower Retirement Community and the nurses and staff from Hospice of Dubuque for the special care given to their mother and grandmother!
