Louise M.Jones, 67, of Dubuque Specialty Care, formerly of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Dubuque Specialty Care.

Visitation will be from 1 P/M to 5 P/M, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque. Private family services will be held at the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Louise was born on April 6, 1950, at Ionia, IA, the daughter of John and Olivia (Huegel) Orthaus. She was a 1968 graduate of Don Bosco High School at Gilbertville, IA. Louise was united in marriage to Dave. R. "Bob" Jones, on October 6, 1972, at Epworth, IA.

She was office manager for Sitco in Dubuque until her retirement in 2014. Louise loved to cook and enjoyed watching television and movies.

Surviving are her husband, David R. "Bob Jones, of Dubuque, IA; three (3) children, Bob Jones and Michelle (Jason) Madison, both of Dubuque, IA, and John (Kelli) Jones, of East Dubuque, IL; two (2) grandchildren, Erik and Calista, and twin Jones babies on the way; her siblings, Richard (Phyllis) Orthaus, of New Hampton, IA, Sister Kathleen Orthaus, OSF, of Mt. St. Francis Convent, of Dubuque, IA, Joanne (Richard) Gleason, of Gilbertville, IA, William (Therese) Orthaus, of Ionia, IA, Thomas (Marilyn) Orthaus, of Central City, IA, John (Eileen) Orthaus, of Urbandale, IA, and Linda (Bill) Noehl, of New Hampton, IA; a sister-in-law, Wilma Orthaus, of Rochester, MN; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gerald Orthaus.

In lieu of flowers, a Louise M. Jones Memorial Fund has been established.

Louise's family with to give "special thanks" to the nurses and staff at Dubuque Specialty Care and Hospice of Dubuque for the exceptional care provided to their wife and mother!
