Kevin P. Jestice, 49, of Freeport, IL, formerly of Hanover, IL, passed away, on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at his residence, in Freeport.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A/M, on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, in Galena, with Fr. Dennis Morrissy officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena.

Visitation is from 5 P/M to 7 P/M, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, in Galena.

Kevin was born on June 27, 1967, in Dubuque, IA, the son of Kenneth and Beverly (Sincock) Jestice.

He was a graduate of Hanover High School and graduated from Illinois State University at Normal, IL, with a degree in social work.

Kevin was an avid photographer and was employed as an admission/discharge clerk at Liberty Village in Freeport.

Surviving are his aunts, Colleen (Ray) Dempsey and Sharon (Cletus) Tranel, both of Galena, IL, and Diane (Isadore) Kowalski, of Cuba City, WI; a cousin, Brian Kowalski; and Kevin's friend, Theresa Miller, of Platteville, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Osburn and Ruth Sincock and Ralph and Estelle Jestice; and two (2) uncles, Raymond Dempsey and Cletus Tranel.

In lieu of flowers, a Kevin P. Jestice Memorial Fund has been established.
