Hans Weinert, 76, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away, peacefully, after a long illness but a happy and rewarding life, on Monday, July 18, 2016.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 A/M, on Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. Raphael's Cathedral, Dubuque, will Msgr. Thomas Toale officiaiting. Burial will be in the East Dubquue Cemetery.

The Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, is serving the family.

Hans was born, raised and educated in Germany. He immigrated to the USA in 1963. He traveled the USA extensively before marrying Elsa, the love of his life, in 1966. In 1978, he started his own successful business, Country Cast Products Incorporated. Hans was a master in his field, and his work was respected by all his clients. He was a very humble and responsible person to all he came in contact with, especially his loyal employees.

Hans is survived by his loving wife of (50) years.

He enjoyed nature, interacting with people, and always thinking ahead for new possibilites. Hans was a very caring and sharing person.

A special "thank you" to all the doctors and medical staff in Iowa City and Dubuque for all of their kind and professional care. A special "thank you" to all friends and neighbors for their love, time and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice.
