Gerald G. "Jerry" Imbus, 80, of Menominee, IL, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Unity Point-Finley Hospital, in Dubuque, IA.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A/M, on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, in Menominee.  Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 P/M to 8 P/M, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, where the parish scripture service will be at 3:45 P/M, on Thursday.  Visitation will also be from 9:30 A/M to 10:15 A/M, on Friday, at Nativity BVM Church.

Jerry was born on September 11, 1937, in Menominee Township, of Jo Daviess County, IL, the son of Henry and Mary (Vogt) Imbus.  He was employed at the John Deere Dubuque Works, retiring in 1997 after (37) years of service.

He was a former member of U.A.W. Local #94.  Jerry loved woodworking, fixing old tractors, fishing and enjoyed attending "Old Thrashing Shows".

Surviving are two (2) daughters, Theresa (Kristen Hurlocker) Imbus, of Bellevue, IA, and Jeanine (Romeo) Liong-A-San, of Coral Springs, FL; four (4) grandchildren, Cassandra, Kate, Victoria and Alexander; four (4) great-grandchildren, Lucas, Melanie, Jordyn and Evelyn; his siblings, Mary Agnes Melssen, of Potosi, WI, Art (Diane) Imbus and Herb Imbus, both of Menominee, IL, Bob (Marian) Imbus, of Luana, IA, Don (Rose) Imbus, of Menominee, IL, Doris (Bob) Watkins, of Springfield, MO, Jim Imbus, of Menominee, IL, Joyce (Pat) Powers, of Dubuque, IA, Dan (Linda) Imbus, of Menominee, IL, and Nancy Roepke, of East Dubuque, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; and Lila Willman, of Dubuque, IA, his significant other.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary; and a great-grandchild, Izzabella.
