Gary L. Feldermann, 70, of Galena, IL, passed away, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in Galena.

A celebration of Gary's life will be from 1 P/M to 3 P/M, on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the Miller & Steinke - Galena chapel, where a Memorial Service will be at 2:30 P/M, with Rev. Dianne Grace officiating.

Gary was born in Dubuque, IA, on April 8, 1946, the son of LeRoy and Bernice (Heim) Feldermann. He was a graduate of Galena High School, Class of 1964. He was united in marriage to Beverly Winter, on June 8, 1973, in Galena.

Gary was employed at Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, in Freeport, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the United Steel Workers, Local #745, in Freeport, and Ducks Unlimited.

He loved hunting, fishing, and restoring old cars.

Surviving are his wife, Bev; two (2) sons, Mike Feldermann, of Galena, IL, and Luke (fiance', Shannon Bartell) Feldermann, of Lisbon, IA; and three (3) granddaughters, Kali, Leia and Payton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Bernice, and one (1) sister, Nancy Feldermann.

Bev and family wish to "thank" Dr. Michael Wells, the nurses and staff from Hospice of Dubuque, and the special people who assisted our family, especially Alice Trebian, Mary Ann Smith, Allison and Raphine, for the wonderful care provided to Gary.
