Obituary
Florence A. Massi, 94, East Dubuque, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away at 5:45 P/M, Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Galena-Stauss Senior Care Community.
Services will be at 11:30 A/M, Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, with Deacon Ted Kocol officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque, IL Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 A/M, Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
Florence was born April 6, 1918, the daughter of John and Rose Susmarski. She was a long time employee of Cragin Bank and Foremost Plastics, both in Chicago.
Florence loved her pets and people and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is her son, John S. Massi, East Dubuque, IL; two daughters, Arlene and Deanna, both of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Massi; a sister, Virginia Lamb; and two brothers, Edward Susmarksi and Raymond Susmarski, veteran of WW #2, serving in the U. S. Army.
John wants to give special thanks to the staff at the Galena-Stauss Senior Care Community, Hospice of Dubuque for the excellent care provided to his Mom and to the Polish Caregivers of Chicago, IL.
