Eileen A. (Hesselbacher) Walton, 93, of Potosi, WI, formerly of Shullsburg, WI, and Scales Mound, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Ennoble Manor Care Center, in Dubuque, IA.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Miller-Steinke Funeral Home, in Scales Mound, where family and friends may call after 10 A/M, on Saturday. Burial will be in the Scales Mound Township Cemetery.

Eileen was born on December 15, 1929, in Scales Mound, the daughter of Ernest and Amanda (Muehleip) Hesselbacher.  She was a graduate of Scales Mound High School, the Class of 1947.

She was formerly employed at Swiss Colony, Advance Transformer, and Orville Tregoning farms. She enjoyed gardening, planting a 200' x 20' garden and pulling all the weeds by hand. Eileen loved a good game of Euchre and 500.

Surviving are two children, Jerry (friend, Judy) Walton, of Freeport, IL, and Sharon (Jerry) Clark, of Harker Heights, TX; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Amanda; and siblings, Evelyn, June, and Orville.
