Edward E. "Eddie" Edwards, 62, of rural Scales Mound, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Midwest Medical Center, in Galena, IL.

Memorial Services will be at 11:30 A/M, on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, in Scales Mound, where friends and relatives may call after 9 A/M, on Thursday.

Eddie was born on September 7, 1955, in Darlington, WI, the son of Sherrel and Barbara (Colin) Edwards.  He was a graduate of Scales Mound High School and was a farm hand and general laborer.  Eddie served in the U. S. Army.

Surviving are his longtime companion, Donna Harris, of Shullsburg, WI; his mother, Barbara Hoppe, of Galena, IL; siblings, Tony (Julie) Edwards, of Galena, IL, and Beth (Danny "Skinner") Staver, of Scales Mound, IL; and nieces and nephews.

An Eddie Edwards Memorial Fund has been established.
