Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy M. "Dot") Kaiser, 84, of Dickeyville, WI, formerly of rural Cuba City, WI, passed away at 4:20 A/M, Monday, October 7, 2013, at Manor Care Health Care, Platteville, WI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A/M, Friday, October 11, 2013, at St. Joseph's Church, Sinsinawa, WI, with Rev. Bernard Rott and Rev. Francis Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 P/M to 8 P/M, Thursday, October 10th, at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, and after 10 A/M, Friday, October 11th, at the church.
Dorothy was born on January 21, 1929, in Hazel Green Township, Grant County, WI, the daughter of Wilbert and Deloris (Budden) Timmerman. She married Elmer J. Kaiser on August 18, 1948, at St. Joseph's Church, Sinsinawa.
Dorothy and Elmer formerly farmed in rural Cuba City. She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish, Dickeyville, and a former member of St. Joseph's Parish at Sinsinawa, where she was a member and past officer of the Council of Catholic Women. Dot enjoyed dancing, bowling, and was an avid euchre and 500 player.
Surviving are three children, William J. (Judy) Kaiser and Mary Beth (Jerry) Stangl, both of Hazel Green, WI, and Samuel C. (and friend, Joyce Fischer) Kaiser, of Cuba City, WI; 13 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren and one on the way; her in-laws, Rita and Eugene Kowalski, of Cuba City, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dorothy's family wishes to extend a special "thank you" to the staff at Manor Care Health Services, and St. Jude Hospice for the wonderful care provided to their mother and grandmother.
