Donald P. Fellig, 77, of East Dubuque, IL, formerly of Galena, IL and Chicago, IL, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, IA.
Friends may call from 4 P/M to 7 P/M, Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, Galena where there will be a Eulogy Service at 6:30 P/M.
Graveside Services will be at 11 A/M, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery, Galena.
Mr. Fellig was born on June 5, 1935 in Chicago, IL, the son of Henry and Louise (Vollmer) Fellig. He served in the U. S. Army. He was formerly employed by Pepsi Cola Company as a vending service mechanic in San Bernardino, CA.
He married Florence Watts on March 23, 1967 in Evanston, IL.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, remote control airplanes and loved to tinker. Don was a avid boater at Frentress Lake and loved his animals.
Surviving are his wife, Florence; two sons, Bob (Cindy) Drewes and Allen (Carole) Drewes, both of St. Charles, IL; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother, Kurt (Debra) Fellig, of Fox Lake, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Henry Fellig, Jr.
