Delores V. "Lori" Runde, 77, of rural Hazel Green, WI, passed away at 11:50 A/M, Friday, February 15, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services, Dubuque, IA.
Mass of Chrisian Burial will be at 11 A/M, Monday, February 18, 2013, at St. Joseph's Church, at Sinsinawa, WI, with Rev. Lance Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 P/M to 6 P/M, Sunday, February 17, 2013, and from 9:30 A/M to 10:30 A/M, Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, where the parish scripture service will be at 1:40 P/M, Sunday.
Lori was born on May 27, 1935, near Worthington, IA, the daughter of Edward H. and Louise M. (Kirsch) White. She married Justin A. Runde on May 17, 1958, at St. Paul's Church in Worthington. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1999.
She was a graduate of St. Paul's High School in Worthington and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Dubuque, IA. She moved to the Fairplay area in 1962. Lori was a homemaker and registered nurse. She was employed by the Sinsinawa Dominicans since 1976.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Council of Catholic Women, past member of St. Joseph's Parish Council, and past officer of the Council of Catholic Women. Lori was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are four children, Larry E. (Kristy) Runde, of Hazel Green, WI, Melinda L. (Jim) Cady, of DeWitt, IA, Cathy D. (Tom) McGovern, of Dubuque, IA, and Kent J. (Dawn) Runde, of Hazel Green, WI; daughter-in-law, Diane Runde, of Janesville, WI; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, and Mitchell Cady, Justin F., Annie C., Mya L., Alex, Andrew, and Laynee Runde; her siblings; Lois Hosch, of New Vienna, IA, Janice Tegeler, of Dyersville, IA, Ann (Wayne) Klaren and Harry (Mary Lou) White, both of Worthington, IA; and a sister-in-law, Mary White, of Petersburg, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian J. Runde; a brother, Elmer White; and two brothers-in-law, George Hosch and Larry Tegeler.
