Dawson David Hoppman, the infant son of Patrick and Mariah (Bauer) Hoppman, of Menominee, IL, was stillborn Monday morning, January 9, 2023, at Unity Point-Finley Hospital, Dubuque, IA.

A private family visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque, followed by graveside services at Nativity BVM Cemetery, Menominee, IL, with Deacon Jamie Schilling officiating.

Dawson is survived by his parents; grandparents, Todd and Tracey (Hammermand) Bauer, of Asbury, IA, Gerry and Chris (Splinter) Hoppman, of Menominee, IL; aunts and uncles, Erin and Jack Howell, Katie and Jason Hilby and Sierra Bauer; great-grandparents, Dave Bauer, of Asbury, IA, Ed Splinter, of East Dubuque, IL, and Randy and Charlene Hammermand, of Dubuque, IA.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Sue Bauer, Doris Splinter, Lloyd and Virginia Hoppman; and cousin, Dylan Arthur Howell.
