Daniel T. Kuhle, 25, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of East Dubuque, IL, passed away, suddenly, on Saturday, May 3, 2014, while visiting friends in Chesapeake, Virginia.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A/M, on Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Mary's Church, in East Dubuque, with Fr. Dean Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery, at Menominee, IL.

Friends may call from 4 P/M to 8 P/M, Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, where the parish rosary will be recited at 3:45 P/M.

Danny was born in Dubuque, IA, on September 2, 1988, the son of Thomas C. and Cathy (Fellenzer) Kuhle.

Danny was a graduate of Wahlert High School and attended Loras College.  He had been employed at Best Buy for many years, and was recently certified as an ordained minister.

Danny was an Ambassador for the MDA Telethon in 2002, and was an honored member of Junior Achievement.  He enjoyed many years attending Camp Courageous of Iowa, at Monticello, and was a former member of the Boy Scouts.

He received many awards with his talent for Debate through High School and through the American Legion in Dubuque, as well for his gift of writing.  Danny loved to experiment with groumet cooking and frequently enticed friends and family to join him in a home cooked meal.

Surviving are his parents, Cathy (Kevin) Kramer, of East Dubuque, IL, and Thomas C. (Edie) Kuhle, of Dubuque, IA; his brothers, Ryan Kuhle, of Austin, TX, Jamison Kuhle, of East Dubuque, IL, and Cory Kramer, of East Dubuque, IL; his sister, Natalie Kuhle, of Dubuque, IA; his step-brother, Max Huss, of Dubuque, IA; his maternal grandmother, Rose Zirtzman, of Galena, IL; and his paternal grandparents, Edwin and Joyce (Welp) Kuhle, of Menominee, IL; his maternal aunts and uncles, Mark (Lori) Fellenzer, of East Moline, IL, and Cindy (Jeff) Maeder, of Galena, IL; his paternal aunts and uncles, Dave (Lois) Kuhle, of Hazel Green, WI, JoAnn (Al) Roberts, of Peosta, IA, Mary Kruser, of Kieler, WI, Barb (Gene) Osterholz, of Menominee, IL; and Bob (Barb) Kuhle, of Monroe, WI; his step family, grandmother, Sharon Kramer, of East Dubuque, IL, grandfather, Robert Huss, of Dubuque, IA, great-grandmother, Madonna Knockel, of East Dubuque, IL, uncle and aunt, Kyle (Linda) Kramer, of Dubuque, IA, and their children, Hannah & Ethan; and by a very special friend, Becky Diercks, with whom he spent his final days.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, and by his friend, Sydney Bobbit.

Danny was a very special person with great compassion.  He will be greatly missed by many!
