Charlotte B. Gilbertson, 88, of rural Galena, IL, passed away at 3:40 A/M, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, in Dubuque, IA.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 A/M, on Friday, March 11, 2016, at the Hillside Cemetery, in Lancaster, WI, with Pastor Doug Tremelling officiating.

The Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, of Galena, is in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte was born on February 15, 1928, near Beetown, WI, the daughter of Harrison and Marie (Reed) Robinson. She was united in marriage to John E. Gilbertson, on June 28, 1958, at the Methodist Church, in Lancaster, WI. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1999.

She was employed at Structo Industries for over forty (40) years. Charlotte was an avid reader.

Surviving is one (1) sister, Betty Roush, of Garland, TX; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and her siblings, Iva Watters, Mary Tremelling, Ruby Moseman, Marian "Ginny" Yanna, Marvin Robinson; and two (2) half-brothers, Melvin and Raymond Robinson.
