Celene A. "Kic" Wagner, 85, of rural Hazel Greene, WI, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Cuba City, WI, following a brief illness.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A/M, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at St. Joseph's Church, Sinsinawa, WI, with Fr. Ken Frisch officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena, IL.
Visitation will be from 3 P/M to 7 P/M, on Monday, December 21, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, IL, where the parish prayer service will be, on Monday, at 2:45 P/M. Visitation will also be from 10 A/M to 10:45 A/M, on Tuesday, at the church.
Celene was born on December 27, 1929, in rural Hazel Green, WI, the daughter of Bernard G. "Ben" and Mary Louise (Droessler) Wagner.
Celene was a member of St. Joseph's Parish. She was employed at Flexsteel Industries for many years, working as a seamstress and later as an inspector. She loved crocheting, playing cards, and spoiling all generations of her nieces and nephews.
Surviving is a brother-in-law, LaVern (Yvonne) Voss, of Pearl City, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sannie.
Celene was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard "Ben" and Mary Louise Wagner; five (5) sisters, Bernadine Wagner, Lucille Wagner, Mary (Chester) Lewis, Amorita Munyon, Helen "Kate" Voss; a brother, George Wagner; also a niece, Brenda Scheid.
