Catherine B. "Cathy" Werner, 66, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at 3:25 A/M, on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center, in Dubuque, IA, surrounded by her family.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 P/M to 6 P/M, on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque.

Private family services will be held.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Catherine was born on October 18, 1951, to Paul and Mary Kramer.  She was the only girl out of nine (9) children, which made her the incredibly strong woman she was.  She enjoyed going out on the river and cruising around in the 1964 MG convertible with her husband, Larry, before he passed in 2012.  Anyone that knew Catherine knew she had a heart of gold.  She always had a willingness to help others in need, and always ensured she took care of her family.  She had more energy in her than most, and took passion in everything she did, including having the greenest lawn on the block.  She was a diehard 49ers and San Francisco Giants fan.

She is survived by her father, Paul Kramer; daughter, Stacy Brown; and granddaughter, Brittany Harbert; along with six (6) brothers, Jack, Steven, Paul, Ron, Terry and James Kramer.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stanley Brown; her brothers, Mikey and Mitchell Kramer; her mother, Mary Kramer; and her loving husband, Larry Werner.

The family would like to "thank" the 3rd floor at Mercy Hospital for comforting Catherine and her family during this difficult time.
