Carolyn M. Lange, 73, of East Dubuque, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at home, surrounded by her family.

A Memorial Mass will be at 5 P/M, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at St. Mary's Church, in East Dubuque, with Fr. Dean Smith officiating.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 3 P/M to 5 P/M, on Tuesday, at St. Mary's Church, in East Dubuque.

The Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born on December 26, 1942, in Colon, Panama, the daughter of Clyde and Velta (Foley) Sharp.  She was united in marriage to Joseph T. Lange, on March 17, 1962, at Balboa Canal Zone, Panama.  He preceded her in death on December 17, 2006.

She was a 1960 graduate of Balboa High School, Panama Canal Zone.  Carol was a homemaker for many years and later worked at Nordstrom's through Sedona Staffing.

She enjoyed golfing and was a member of Lacoma Golf Club for many years.  Carol also enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two (2) daughters, Denise (Patrick "Mac") McCarty, of Port Richey, FL and Nancy (Jeff) Bakey, of East Dubuque, IL; two (2) grandchildren, Steven (Kim) Hames, of Dubuque, IA, and Luke Bakey, of East Dubuque, IL; three (3) great-grandchildren, Charlee Bakey, Corbin and Nora Hames; her sister, Joan Falk, of Sun City, AZ; brother-in-law, Harold "Skip" (Mary Jean) Lange, of East Dubuque, IL; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Lange, of East Dubuque, IL, and Phyllis Lange, of Cedar Rapids, IA; her nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; brothers-in-law, Dale, Gerald and Bob Lange; and sisters-in-law, Elaine "Pal" Potter and Joyce Lange.

Carol's family would like to give a "special thank-you" to Hospice of Dubuque, especially Traci and Heather, for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, a Carolyn M. Lange Memorial Fund has been established.
