Carol J. Anderson, 67, of Scales Mound, IL, passed away at 6:19 P/M, on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at St. Anthony's Hospital, Rockford, IL, from injuries received in an auto accident, on Thursday, November 10, 2016, between Apple River, IL, and Warren, IL, on Stagecoach Trail.

Funeral Services will be at 10 A/M, on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, in Schapville, IL, with Pastor Mark Oehlert officiating. Burial will be in Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Cemetery, in Schapville.

Visitation will be from 1 P/M to 6 P/M, on Sunday, November 13, 2016, and from 9 A/M till 9:45 A/M, on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 536 E. Schapville Road, Scales Mound, IL.

Carol was born on April 18, 1949, at Dodgeville, WI, the daughter of Bob and Marie (Gerlach) North. She was a graduate of Darlington, WI High School, Class of 1967 and Capri Cosmetology, in 1978.

Carol was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at Schapville, IL. She was united in marriage to George L. Anderson, on August 12, 1967, in Seymour, WI.

Carol was a lifetime farm wife. Carol owned and operated "The Hen Hut" in Scales Mound for several years and also served as receptionist at the Owner's Club at the Galena Territory. She enjoyed making crafts and giving them to family and friends and spending time with her family. Carol had a kind and generous heart.

Surviving are her husband, George; two (2) sons, Carl (Becky) and Neil (Lori); six (6) grandchildren, Clint (Olivia), Cyle (Megan), Derian, Jalen, Taylor and Maddison; brothers, Charlie (Peggy) North, Bill (Marge) North, Dick "Fuzzy" (Jean) North; and a sister, Sheila (Pat) Ohms.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Dennis George; and two (2) sisters, Diane Gile and Marian Schony.

The Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, in Scales Mound, is in charge of arrangements.
