Anna Mae Donar, 85, Menominee, IL, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012, at home surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A/M, Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Nativity BVM Church, Menominee, IL, with Rev. Michael Barry officiating. Burial we be in the Nativity BVM Cemetery.
Friends may call after 9:30 A/M, Thursday, October 11th at the Church. Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
Anna Mae was born on November 22, 1926, at home near Menominee, IL, the daughter of Henry and Theresa (Bishop) Donar, the fifth of six children.
Anna Mae grew up in the Menominee and Galena area, attending school at "Dirty" Ridge School and Menominee School. She farmed with her parents, brothers and sister in the Menominee and Galena area, and near Potosi, WI. Upon retirement, she lived in East Dubuque and later in Menominee.
Surviving are her sister, Marie; brother, Clem; and sister-in-law, Mary Donar, all of Menominee, IL; nephews, Dan (Mary Kay) Donar, Menominee, IL, and Leo "Lee" (Vickie) Donar, Hazel Green, WI; nieces, Theresa (Lewis) Riniker, Galena, IL, Linda (Don) Stierman, Toledo, OH, and goddaughter, Brenda (Ron) Donar, Cuba City, WI; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many cousins, amongst them, Clarence (Audrey) Collis and Barbara (Steve) Vogt.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Leo and Nicholas; and two great nieces, Rebecca Riniker and Alazaya Vickerman.
