Ann F Zeller, 82, of 1001 Assissi Dr, Dubuque, IA, formerly of East Dubuque, IL, The Galena Territory, IL, and McHenry, IL, died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at her residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A/M, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at St Mary's Church, East Dubuque, IL, with the Rev Michael Barry officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.

Visitation is 4 P/M to 8 P/M, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, IL, where the parish rosary will be recited at 4 P/M.

Ann was born on July 23, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John F and Marion (Winkels) Dix. She married Kenneth G Zeller on September 24, 1949, at St Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2008.

Ann was formerly a realtor in Chicago, the Northwest Suburbs, and Galena for many years. Ann was involved in the Arthritis Foundation and conducted various support groups and was very active in the Galena Territory Scholarship Fund Program. She was a member of St Mary's Church, East Dubuque, IL and its Altar & Rosary Society.

Surviving are her children, Lyn (Richard) Nemec, Palatine, IL; Peggy (Greg) Palmer, Worden, IL; Kathy (Fernando) Peralta, Wauconda, IL; Kenneth (Sue) Zeller, Crystal Lake, IL; Marty (Gae) Zeller, Grants, New Mexico; Michael Zeller, Wauconda, IL; Timothy (Nora Lee) Zeller, Elgin, IL; Bob Zeller and (Irene), McHenry, IL; 17 grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; her siblings, Jean Hill, Bartlett, IL; John (Polly) Dix, Columbus, OH; Marian (Peter) Howley, Denver, CO; Joe (M.J.) Dix, Evanston, IL; Pat (Tom) Brewer, Springfield, MO; and Penny Dix, Baltimore, MD.

Ann was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard, in 1973, and a sister, Betty Dix.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Galena Territory Scholarship Fund or Notre Dame High School for Girls, Chicago, IL.
